Hi, I’m cyrus kezar.
I never set out to become a safety professional. In fact, when I first started my career in the mining industry, my focus was on operations, environmental, efficiency, and getting the job done. But early on, I witnessed firsthand the consequences of preventable incidents, moments that could have been avoided with the right training, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to safety.
Those experiences changed my perspective. I realized that safety isn’t just a compliance requirement, it’s the foundation of a successful, sustainable workplace. Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to building safety programs that go beyond checklists and regulations. My approach is rooted in practical, real-world solutions that empower teams to recognize risks before they become incidents.
With extensive experience across high-risk industries such as agriculture, mining, and oil and gas, I understand the unique challenges that come with demanding work environments. Whether it’s implementing effective training programs, developing risk mitigation strategies, or fostering a culture where safety is second nature, my goal is simple: to ensure that every worker goes home safely at the end of the day.
Safety isn’t just a job, it’s a responsibility. And it’s one I take seriously.

My Approach
Improving safety culture isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level policies, it requires a structured, hands-on approach that integrates safety into daily operations. My method focuses on a two-step process that ensures safety isn’t just understood but actively practiced:
step one: foundational safety training
Before workers step into the field, they need a solid understanding of safety principles, hazards, and best practices. My foundational safety training provides:
Clear, practical education on industry-specific risks and prevention strategies.
Engaging, scenario-based learning that helps workers recognize hazards before they become incidents.
A proactive mindset shift, ensuring safety is seen as a shared responsibility, not just a compliance requirement.
step two: reinforced in-the-field training
Safety training doesn’t end in the classroom, it must be reinforced where the work happens. In-the-field training ensures:
Hands-on application of safety principles in real-world environments.
Active coaching and mentorship, helping workers apply their knowledge in high-risk situations.
Continuous improvement, where lessons learned from daily operations shape ongoing safety practices.
By combining structured education with real-world reinforcement, this approach creates a safety culture that is practical, proactive, and deeply ingrained in every aspect of the job. The result? A workforce that doesn’t just follow safety protocols, but truly understands and values them.
